MVTV has closed on the property at 58 Edgartown-Vineyard Haven Road. The 1.5 acre parcel will be the new site for MVTV offices and studios. Recently the Martha’s Vineyard Commission approved the project as a Development of Regional Impact. Financing for the new contract depends on the negotiations between the six island towns and Comcast. As of this writing both Edgartown and Tisbury have withdrawn from the talks until the issue of cable on Chappaquiddick is resolved. Stay tuned…
