Steve Says

MVTV is meeting our sustainability goals by switching to clean, more affordable solar power, which has dramatically reduced MVTV’s energy consumption and reliance on electricity from the grid. The system off-sets 100% of the MVTV facility power usage with solar electricity.
For more info about our solar energy system, call, or stop by and talk with Steve…
and see for yourself!

MVTV is currently interested in purchasing a new desk for the main studio, and we want to hear from producers about what they are looking for to improve their studio productions. We are looking at the Uniset Company’s UNIPRO desk system with 7 unique desk tops, with customizable green screen panel for the front of the desk. You can even create your own media panel graphic or logo for a real studio feel!
Stop by and talk with Steve or Carl to see the entire Uniset catalogue of set designs.

The Pinkletinks are out and so are MVTV’s volunteers!
We are excited that events are picking up and our members are all trained up and ready to volunteer!
Also, look forward to the new productions from our intern, Anthony Vilaca from MVRHS!
Finally, the sixth graders from the Edgartown School will be doing a cooking show in the very near future. We are finalizing our recipes! New programming is on the way from the Edgartown School, The Chilmark School, The High School and from our intern!
Stay tuned!

MVTV Board of Directors

It’s Budget Time, and the board reviewed the 2020 budget prepared by Steve and treasurer Bill McGrath. There were discussions and some minor alterations, and the budget was unanimously approved, and will now go to the island towns.
MVTV needs to replace the studio cameras, and Steve is looking at PTZ cameras, like the ones in the kitchen studio.
