June Newsletter

Steve Says

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the MVTV building has been closed, but as part of Governor Baker’s Phase 2, we are slowly re-opening. No classes are being scheduled but staff are available on a socially distanced one-on-one basis. Appointments are necessary, and masks must be worn at all times.

MVTV continues to air each town’s Zoom board meetings, and are covering all town meetings. Look for them on channel 15.

CARL’S CORNER

Producers looking to use the MVTV studio this summer may now familiarize themselves with our new COVID-19 guidelines, so by the time you’re ready to begin producing again, we’ll all be well acquainted with the new rules. You may access the documents HERE and when you’re confident that you understand the guidelines, after your input and consultation with us, we’ll be ready to start booking the studio again!

Email Carl if you are interested, and stay safe and well this summer.

MICHELLE’S  MEDIA  MESSAGE

The current MVTV members have been as busy as ever. We have been regularly meeting the requests of the community as well as meeting the requirements of the MV town’s meetings. We are hopeful that the re-opening of MVTV will be one that is considerate of all persons and employees as we embrace this amazing tool that we all use for exercising our First Amendment rights of freedom of speech.

MVTV Board of Directors

Board meetings are currently being conducted on Zoom as we deal with issues involved with re-opening the station.
The board is proud of the work done by the MVTV staff in bringing emergency information to the public, and in airing ongoing government meetings.
