Steve Says

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the MVTV building is closed, but our work goes on. The MV Hospital aired a program to guide the public in preventative measures, and Sheriff Ogden also did a presentation on public safety. Producers are turning in new programing, and interviews are being conducted on ZOOM. We are constantly exploring new technology to bring you updated news and information.

 MICHELLE’S  MEDIA  MESSAGE

Things in our world are changing but there are constants as well. Communication, especially digital communication is all too important today. MVTV is maintaining our community outreach projects as well as creating new tutorials for members and non-members to have access to the tools necessary to stay in touch with friends and family. We are also encouraging members of our community to continue submitting media to MVTV. Please look forward to a streamlined process in order to submit to Channel 13!
BE SURE TO SEE MICHELLE’S TUTORIAL ON USING ZOOM –                          Go to MVTV.org, click on ‘ZOOM Tutorial’.

MVTV Board of Directors

Thanks to ZOOM, the board was able to meet, and work on updating our bylaws. Steve reported that all the towns are sending in meetings, and some of them go on the air LIVE. Staff was even able to air two LIVE meetings at the same time, on channels 14 and 15. The message on Coronavirus presented by the hospital has become our most-watched program.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                     The board is proud of the work done by the MVTV staff in bringing emergency information to the public, and in airing ongoing government meetings.
