Website Management

Your website is built with Webflow, which manages both the visual design of your website and all of your website content. This guide explains what you can safely update yourself and which parts of the website are managed automatically behind the scenes.

Updating Web Pages

If you need to edit text that appears directly on a page—such as:

  • fixing a typo
  • updating button texts and links
  • replacing general page content

you can do this using the Webflow Editor.

Log in using the email address that has access to your website.

CMS Collections

The Content Management System (CMS) is where you add, edit, and organize dynamic website content.

You can safely manage:

  • FAQs: Add or update frequently asked questions.
  • Newsletters & Minutes / Board Minutes: Publish the latest meeting notes and Newsletters on the Newsletters & Minutes page.
  • Courses & Course Categories: Update course listings on the Courses page. Announce an upcoming course.

Automatically Managed Collections:

  • Producers Producer profiles are created and updated automatically from CableCast.
  • Show Categories are also automatically updated from CableCast.

The following collections are maintained entirely by the automation system.

⚠️ System Variables (Do Not Edit)

You will see a collection named System Variables.
This collection stores technical values used by the website automation.

  • VOD Descriptions: Video-on-Demand content is imported automatically, but you can safely edit or add video descriptions inside each VOD item whenever necessary.
  • What it does: It stores a technical numeric tracker (the highest VOD ID) used by our background automation.
  • Action needed: Please do not edit, delete, or alter anything inside this collection. Modifying these values will break the automated synchronization systems.

Automation: Make.com

We use an automation platform called Make.com to handle the automation part of the website. You don't have to manage anything here but if you notice that new videos are not added to VOD on the website you need to notify us.

Just for your information; Make.com handles two major tasks:

1. Automatic VOD, Category, & Producer Synchronization
  • How it works: Every day (around midnight), Make.com connects directly to your video systems (CableCast). It automatically pulls your latest Video-on-Demand (VOD) assets, tags them with the correct producers and categories, creates matching pages on your website, and publishes them perfectly.
  • Your takeaway: Video publishing requires no manual work.
2. Automated Administrative Email

Whenever someone submits a website form (for example, a Program Contract), Make.com automatically:

  • captures the submission
  • formats the information
  • creates a professional, easy-to-read administrative email
